Let’s end Colorectal Cancer in Washington State.
Supporting Colorectal Cancer Patients and their Caregivers
We hold monthly in-person and Zoom support groups for current and past Colorectal Cancer patients. One-on-one patient support and navigation is also available.
Striving To Increase Screening Rates and Break Down Barriers That Prevent Timely Screening.
The American Cancer Society recommends that adults without a family history begin colorectal cancer screening at age 45. However, your personal risk factors may require an earlier screening.
Educating Our Community About Colorectal Cancer
By 2030, colorectal cancer will be the leading cause of cancer deaths among 20 to 50 year olds. We’re committed to educating the community about symptoms, screening, and factors that increase risk of being diagnosed with colorectal cancer.
Only 1 in 3 adults who need to be screened are actually doing it. * If you are 45 years or older, or are experiencing symptoms no matter your age, please contact your doctor now about the appropriate colorectal cancer screening.
